Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders: Dinesh karthik-led KKR Beat Bangalore By Six Wickets

IPL 2018 is not so good for RCB till now as KKR beat them by six wickets at home. Australian opener Chris Lynn played a perfect inning as KKR is back to winning time with an easy six-wicket win against Royal Challengers Bangalore in an IPL match on Sunday night in style.

KKR chased down a normal target of 176 runs with comfort in just 19.1 overs as Lynn scored an unbeaten 62 off 52 balls with seven fours and a six. Lynn stayed till last over and passed the victory barrier and KKR captain Dinesh Karthik is also doing his duty of finisher with perfection in every match.
Dinesh Karthik is getting matured as captain as IPL progresses. He played his role with a 10-ball-23 runs to make the total easy one.

KKR with eight points now remained in fourth place in the race of play-offs, on the other hand Virat Kohli's RCB is getting deeper in IPL Sea with fifth defeat in seven games. Lynn and Sunil (27 off 19 balls) provided a bullet start with scoring 51 runs in the power play, with this momentum RCB never looks comfortable to defend the total of 176 runs. Now it is getting very tough for Indian captain Virat Kohli
to get in the play offs. We wish all the best for remaining of matchs for RCV and congratulations to KKR for thumping victory and good luck for further matches.

Dinesh Karthik was very happy and lauds youngsters in post-match presentation: "There's nothing special, nothing too bad about it, we're right in the middle. Thought it was a par score. With AB not being there, we knew Virat was key.

I'm somebody who believes in trusting the eleven players, not making too many changes. I have a lot of time for them in life. They're great kids.

After winning the World Cup you generally have a bit of a chip on the shoulder, but not these guys. Credit to Rahul Dravid too. They always have to say good things about him. Always trying to make sure to win the game,".

But on the other hand Virat Kohli was once again disappointed with the team efforts. He said in the press conference post-match presentation :

"It's a pretty surprising every time we bat. Looked better than it played (the track). 175 was a really good score I felt.

If we field like that, we don't deserve to win. We need to be hard on ourselves and be more brave with the ball and in the field, we need to correct those things going forward. We didn't deserve to win with the way we fielded. We weren't just good enough tonight.

I can't pin-point anything at this point. We got to win 6 out of 7 to qualify from here. Got to take every game as virtual semi-finals, there's no room for complacency. Need guys stepping up their game at the right time. Hopefully, they understand that moving forward,".
